After playing guitar for almost 25 years, countless mods to my own guitars, setups in a range of different of different tunings at different scales, building guitars from acquired parts and just general guitar-love – I have decided to birth ‘Trussty Guitar Setups’.
From here I’m taking it to the next level, from being a guitar enthusiast with a fascination in guitar electronics – working on my own guitars as well as the guitars of friends and acquaintances – to offering guitar servicing, repair and modification on a pro level.
I absolutely love guitars, and take a lot of pride in not only the work, but researching the history of every instrument and the era of its manufacture. Every instrument is individual, and deserves to be treated as such.
I can carry out the simplest of work, from restrings and setups – to working with nuts, saddles, tuners and frets. I also specialise guitar electronics – alteration or replacement of pickups, fixing or replacing components, or customising your guitar to allow you to achieve a range of tones.
